Zentangle Nr2
Playing with transforming patterns, positive to negative. After I finished the two spheres it just felt right to add some ribbons. Not sure about the warm greys I used on the ribbons though, as the marker bled into the Moleskine paper and went a bit too stripy for my taste. Faber-Castell PITT pens (XS, S, F, M and B) in 13x21cm Moleskine sketchbook.
Fantastic work. I love zentangles but mine are boring compared to this! Spotted you on Art House, will look forward to seeing your sketchbook 🙂
Thanks Linda. I've only recently returned to doing some illustration and just discovered zentangles. I always loved to doodle but really like them now as I can do as much or as little as I feel up to. I've got chronic fatigue so at the moment I don't have the energy for any big projects. That's also why I like the look of the Sketchbook Project – I think I can manage the world one sketch at a time :-)I've just had a look at your blog & arthouse page and see you've already started yours. Your sketches are really looking good and I've added myself to your 'followers'.
